Hello. I'm Lou and I founded L27 in 2017.
With a background in fine art, design and food and drink, I draw on these chapters of my life to inspire each event.
I live in a Georgian townhouse in North Yorkshire, which my husband Ivan and I, lovingly renovated and restored.
I’m a natural host and love nothing more than having family and friends over for a nice home cooked meal and a bottle of wine, most likely followed by an espresso martini or a negroni and a kitchen disco.
I love working with couples who have lots of exciting ideas, enjoy good food and drink, and love to have a good time. Together we create personal, fun and memorable gatherings.
P.S. The name L27 comes from my favourite letter and my lucky number (It’s mine and my son’s birthdate).

As a small-scale studio, L27’s service is focused and truly personal. We take on a limited number of weddings each year, allowing us the time to really focus on each special day. Each wedding and event is approached with the utmost care and a meticulous attention to detail. L27 take the time to connect with and really get to know their clients; their likes, their dislikes and spend time discovering what they are really looking for.

Before we even begin working together, we’ll chat through your ideas (we love to hear how you imagine your day will be). We’re listening and we really care. We’ll keep you updated throughout the whole process, as often as you’d like, we are always on the other end of the phone. We take care of managing budgets, pulling together schedules and creating a cohesive design plan for everyone involved, leaving you to the fun parts. We strive on connecting you with first-class, likeminded suppliers who will perfectly match your style.
