HOW MANY WEDDINGS DO YOU WORK ON AT ANY ONE TIME?

We take on a limited number of weddings each year so we can devote all the time and energy your day deserves. We only ever take on wedding per week and never have back to back bookings.

When should we get in touch with you?

Because we only take on a limited number of weddings, we recommend getting in touch as soon as possible if you’d like to work with us.

WHERE ARE YOU BASED?

We’re based in a Georgian townhouse in Knaresborough, North Yorkshire but you’ll often find us in London too. We plan weddings across the UK and love to explore counties old and new.

ARE YOU FREE TO MEET UP OR TALK IN THE EVENING OR AT WEEKENDS?

Absolutely. We understand lots of our couples are working during “office hours” so we are flexible to fit in around your commitments. The only exception is if we have a wedding that weekend as we’ll be rather busy!

DO YOU PLAN DESTINATION WEDDINGS?

We don’t currently plan weddings outside of the UK but we do know some very talented planners who can help if you’re looking to get wed further afield. We often help couples living abroad to plan their celebrations in the UK, so please get in touch if you are looking for a wedding in Britain.

DO YOU only work with your preferred supplierS?

We work with some of the most talented and lovely suppliers in the industry. This means we have a fantastic little black book of people who we think will bring your ideas to life and be part of an amazing team. However, recommendations are all they are. It’s your wedding and if you have certain vendors you’d love to work with, we are of course happy to work with new suppliers, especially if they have a similar style and ethos to ours.

Do you plan MARQUEE weddings?

We love to plan marquee weddings. They bring a whole lot of freedom and a “blank canvas” to work with which is both exciting and challenging, and are often when you’ll find you need a planner the most.

Do you have insurance?

We’re fully insured with public liability insurance but we always recommend couples take out wedding insurance too.

ARE THERE ANY ADDITIONAL FEES WE SHOULD KNOW ABOUT?

We’ll provide you with a bespoke quote following our first informal chat and we’ll update you regarding the budget throughout the planning process. We don’t take commission from any suppliers and any trade discounts are always passed on to the couple. We are always super transparent about costs.

DO YOU CHARGE EXTRA FOR TRAVEL AND ACCOMMODATION?

Any costs involved for transport and accommodation will be included in the initial quote.

How do we book you and WHAT ARE YOUR PAYMENT TERMS?

Following our initial informal chat, we will send you a draft design proposal and quote. Once you’ve decided we’re the right fit for you, we’ll send an invoice for an initial 50% deposit to secure the date and our services, payable via bank transfer. The remaining balance is payable 4 weeks prior to your wedding.

DO YOU PLAN PARTIES OR EVENTS?

Absolutely. We plan birthday parties, charity dinners, private celebrations and brand events. Just ask!

Are you available to create and design STYLED SHOOTS AND EDITORIALS?

Of course, we love to be creative and explore new ideas with likeminded suppliers. We also run workshops for photographers to add to their portfolio. Please get in touch for more information.
